I am often asked about how I make money blogging. With the economy the way it is people are always looking for ways to make money online, and many people think that blogging is he way to go. Now I don’t want to stop anyone from blogging their passion, but as rewarding as blogging can be it is a lot of work and it is not the way to make a quick buck. If you really want to blog than go for it, and be sure to check out The Blogging Bunch for great tips to help you get started. If blogging seems like too much work though than I have some other great ways for you to make money online. You will be able to get a physical reward from all of these sites. Many online survey sites like to reward you by only entering you into giveaways, I have little free time, so I’m not a fan of those sites and I don’t work with them. These are listed in alphabetical order.
E-Poll is strictly a survey site. They send out emails when a survey is available. I have found their surveys to be much different than the ones use by other sites. If you spend a lot of time taking surveys this is a very nice change. Rewards come in the form of points and those points can be redeemed for gift cards or a PayPal payout. There aren’t a ton of gift cards to choose from, but there are some good ones like Best Buy and Target.
I always say pennies add up, and they certainly do with Inbox Dollars. As long as long as you keep your account active you can receive multiple paid emails a day. Now the emails only pay $0.02 each, but that really isn’t so bad when you get a few a day. You can add to that amount by completing other activities like taking surveys. I also have found that they offer a lot of good opportunities and you will be rewarded for signing up for them. You get rewarded in money and whenever you want, after you reach $30, you can request a check. There is a $3 convenience charge for the check, so if you want a check for $50 make sure you’ve made $53 otherwise you’ll get a check for $47.
MindField is another survey only site. When a survey is available they will email you about it. One thing that I really like is that every survey you receive contains other useful information from their site including how much money you have accumulated and what the cashout threshold is. Rewards are given in monetary amounts. You can choose to get your money as a PayPal payment, or you can choose from a few select gift cards.
I have been a MyPoints member for almost six years. I have earned a lot of rewards from them. You can earn money by clicking on paid emails, taking surveys, searching the internet, shopping online, and many other activities. One thing that I really like is that even if you don’t qualify for a survey you still get points for trying. I don’t have a lot of free time, so I hate to waste it trying a survey only to not qualify and get nothing for it. You get rewards in the form of points. You can then take the pints and choose from a huge selection of gift cards as well as PayPal. You should note that certain rewards require more points than others. In other words not every $25 reward is 2,500 points. Some of them will need more than that, so look into that before deciding what you want to get with your points.
MyView is a survey only site. You will receive an email from them when a survey is available. Rewards are given in the form of points. You can then use those rewards to get gift cards. There is no way to get actual cash, but you can choose a Visa gift card. There are a lot of other great gift cards too for places you likely often shop at such as Target, CVS, and Kohl’s. You can also get gift cards for restaurants. It’s always nice to treat yourself to something for free!
Opinion Outpost is another strictly survey site. One thing I really like about them is if you don’t qualify for a survey you can choose an action to take. One of the choices is to play an instant win type game (the actual game changes from time to time), and you can win points. You certainly won’t win every time, but I have won many times, and I’ve won a lot of points from it too. You get rewarded with points. There aren’t a lot of options for what you can do with the points, but you can change them into a PayPal payment or an Amazon gift card among a few other choices. I’ve been with them for so long that when I started it was a check instead of PayPal!
Send Earnings is pretty much identical to Inbox Dollars. Some of the emails and offers they send out are different, but they work the exact same way, and the websites look a lot alike. The way rewards work is also the exact same. That being said I still like to use both of them. I’m always a big fan of the sites that pay me for clicking on an email. When I don’t have a lot of time that’s a nice easy way to make a little extra money.
Sunshine Rewards is probably my favorite survey site. Part of the reason is because I can choose Disney gift cards, but I also really like it because it has a great community attached to it. There is no other site that I know of where the owner will chat with you or where they work so hard for you. You can make money by taking surveys, shopping online, as well as other activities. Rewards are given in the form of money. You choose to turn your money into a Disney gift card, an Amazon gift card, or a PayPal payment.
I’m still somewhat new to SwagBucks, but so far I really like them. In fact I just recently cashed in my points for my first reward. There are a ton of ways to get points from SwagBucks. You can get rewarded for answering poll questions, watching videos, taking surveys, searching online, shopping online, and many other activities. One of the things I love is that they post Swag Codes. These are special limited time codes that when entered on the website give you free points. You earn rewards which you than can use to choose from a vast selection of gift cards as well as PayPal. What’s really nice is that the reward points for all of the rewards including PayPal are the all the same amount, so if you want a $50 reward the reward amount for all of them is the same.
Toluna is strictly a survey site. They’ll email you when a survey is available, and I have found that they sent out a lot of emails. One thing that I really liked about them is they gave you at least some points even if you didn’t qualify for the survey. Rewards are given in the form of points. You need a lot of points to cash out, but a large number of points are given for the surveys as well. You can turn your rewards into a PayPal payment, a check, a Visa gift card, or a few other choices. The one thing to note about Toluna is that after a year your points expire, so you need to be on top of things. I didn’t know that, and due to my blog I only had so much time to take surveys, so I spent a lot of time taking them only to lose my points. I still think they’re a great site, but you may want to go with some other ones if you can’t devote enough time to it.
